The staff at the hotel are courteous. The breakfast is excellent. Couldn’t manage to use the rest of the restaurants.Overall a lovely place to unwind!. Wish they had a private beach or access to a beach from the property.

I had an opportunity to host wedding of my son Rahul on 20th January,2012 at this Resort. We stayed here for three nights. I was afraid based on the experience of other functions at Different hotels in the past, as to how this function is going to conclude. But it was amazing for me and all my guests who enjoyed at this resort tremendously. It was like a dream coming to be true. I am grateful to entire team of Resort Rio and specially Ms Anjali Kamat who made this function grand success. The Wedding ceremony was arranged at this Resort just because of good efforts of Ms. Anjali. I am also thankful to Mr. D,Souza who personally took interest in making this ceremony a grand success. I am unfortunate to have only son else I would have arranged all ceremonies at this Resort. I wish this Resort to deliver wonderful experience to the coming guests in future.
"How to host a tension free wedding!!!"
Let me start with an old adage – Marriages are made in heaven and Weddings are solemnized on earth. The big question is where on earth would one want to solemnize one’s marriage. This question becomes slightly more tricky once one decides to go for a destination wedding. And when the wedding is a traditional hindu wedding, in which the entire affair runs into 2-3 days of rites and rituals, one can never be sure of finalizing the location of the wedding.
Choosing a destination (geographical location) might be the only easy part of this exercise. Rest all is as mammoth as hosting the wedding at your home turf. Imagine the duress one goes through hosting the wedding in home town. And now imagine the multiplier effect of hosting the exactly same hindu wedding in a completely new place with no relationship or local contact to guide you through the place.
Team Rio – Everyone had a crucial role to play in our wedding and they all did a superb job. I cannot thank you all enough.

My brother’s fabulous wedding was at Resort Rio, What can I say it was a fairy tale wedding and would not have been one, if we did not get the support and help from the staff! Our wedding guests stayed from 3rd dec to 5th dec 2011. My family stayed for a little longer (Nov28 – Dec7).
All our guests had wonderful things to say about the wedding, they said it was beautiful, amazing, organized and very convenient. They all had a time of their lives.
My dear hubby gave the best complement that will probably summarize how we all felt, he said that we have to be back in 15-20 yrs to have our daughter’s (she’s only 8) wedding here again!!!

We had our son’s wedding and don’t think could have found better place than Resort Rio. In choosing Resort Rio we found the soul of the resort in Anjli Kamat. She is wonderful person, most helpful & with her entire staff gave us the service which did not dream of. We got married at Resort Rio. The entire resort was booked by us for 3 days..The service provided by RIO RESORT is worth appreciating. the staff at Rio is very hospitable, reliable N TRUSTWORTHY..
They made sure that every guest present there felt homely.. Also the beauty, the ambiance of the resort is marvelous. and not to forget the rooms were simply
beautiful n luxurious. Every single person, be a child or an adult, had a lovely stay and would definitely come back to Rio only..
